Shallow Sport Boats 2024 Scholarship Criteria

The Shallow Sport Scholarship Committee will award scholarships in the amount of $1000 each to selected undergraduate students attending any accredited college or technical school in the fall of 2024.

Funds will be set up and administered through the Registrar or Financial Office of the student’s designated school. Scholarship monies may only be used for the purpose of tuition, books, lab fees or any other similar costs that have been imposed on the student by the school or one of its classes. It will be the responsibility of the scholarship winners to provide Shallow Sport all information needed to facilitate the funding.

Applications will be accepted from individuals who will be freshman through senior undergraduate students in the fall of 2024. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.25 and provide proof of enrollment as a full-time student (minimum of 12 hours). Online classes will be credited for student hours.

The full scholarship amount will be paid in the fall semester with proof of full-time enrollment and GPA. This scholarship is not a continually renewable scholarship, but can be reapplied for annually.

The Student will be required to submit to the Committee a small portfolio containing the following: A photo of the student, cover letter, transcript of grades to include dual enrollment, and the completed Shallow Sport Scholarship Application along with the required essay. Your essay is extremely important since it will provide the Committee with
a better understanding of you and your personal goals and objectives. Scholarships will be awarded based on grades, activities, personal and familial involvement with the Shallow Sport brand, and other factors at the sole discretion of the Shallow Sport Scholarship Committee. The application portfolios can be mailed to the address below or emailed to Kyra@shallowsportboats.com. All applicants must be legal residents of the United States. Any applications submitted without all of the above items will be considered incomplete and will not be eligible for
consideration.

All applications must be received or postmarked no later than April 1, 2024. The Committee will make its final decisions by April 15, 2024 and will notify those students who have been selected as recipients as soon thereafter as possible. Recipients will also be acknowledged at the Owner’s Tournament on Friday May 10th and should be present to accept the award and join in the festivities.
